on the street again
When we were around 6 or 7, I had a tape recorder and I was a jr. reporter, I would do little interviews of my brother and sister, the neighborhood kids, cory fowler, and my favorites Jeffrey and Kevin Keller.. I don't know if they remember this. I would ask them random questionsd , and once in a great while wdecide to put on a play for each other, or get a club going. This led the GREATNESS!!!!! OMG!!! WE CREATED THE YOGURT CLUB!!! Everyone got a cup of yogurt and sat around and read to each other how good it was for you, and sampled different flavors, you have to remember, this stuff was really new back then. After we were done with the Pamphlet, we branched out and you guessed it...took a field trip to TACO BELL it was only one short mile away by foot, anyway I devised the permission slips; I was very official. Jeff Graff was there too, can't leave him out. After I had all of the signed slips, we were off to Taco Bell, we had maybe $5-$10 in the yogurt club kitty, (from our dues???) who came up with this??? hilarious. all of us kids walked to Taco bell in the 90 degree heat - the yogurt club had it's field trip to Taco bell, we also had our weekly meetings in our garage on my street. Very warm in there....I also used to be the jr. chemist, it's a miracle the fumes from the mixtures of chemicals didn't kill all of us. I used to make quite the concoctions, bleach and detergent, little puffs of smoke used to happen. it was really kind of awesome. I actually wonder if I had got to go to college when I was 18, right after high school and went to a real college if I could have made a difference in the world? Discovered cures for diseases, but the world will never know. I'm not well. and I'm sick of fighting a losing battle. No one seems to care, no one ever contacts me, calls, writes. I get no emails, no phone calls, I don't exist. I'm invisible.
