A Shoe Salesman really?

Today they officially retired the #55 which was Junior Seau. The ceremony was emceed by Dan Fouts. The first time I met Dan Fouts, he was a shoe salesman. I got a pair of Pink Adidas, awesome!! He measured my foot and was so nice. My mom and dad knew who he was, I was 12, I could have cared less. In the next few years he emerged as a Superstar. I can only think it's because he sold me a pair of shoes.

Hunger Games

I'm reading the books of "The Hunger Games" , and I have to tell you that the books are a fascinating take of the future. Scariest scenario that you can imagine. When I was in the 5th grade I read a book with a similar theme, it was called The Most Dangerous Game. Has anyone else drawn a comparison to the two??

Regardless, I am addicted to this series. I have been staying up nights reading there books. I don;t want to see the movie until I finish the series. Absolutely fascinating.
